If you are trying to grow your brand, or you are just a person with an awesome dogger and some adorable pictures to share, and are in search of more likes and shares–because let’s face it, we are all in search of more likes and shares–you may want to keep this nifty infographic nearby.

Based on collected data from 16 studies, the infographic details when the best times are to post to each of the most popular social media networks. Contrary to what you might believe, they do vary, a lot.

Yes, we certainly could have guessed that users of Facebook tend to check their feed more as the long workweek is coming to a close on Thursday and even more so through the weekend, but who knew that Wednesday between 5:00PM and 6:00PM is happy hour on Twitter? Random, right?

One Saturdays and Sundays, which should normally be reserved for spending time with our significant others, friends, and family, we are apparently on Facebook. Oh and, for reasons unknown, posting to Instagram between 3:00PM and 4:00PM could mean that your post goes into the Instagram black hole of posts. However, posting a video to Instagram during primetime, at 9:00PM means that along with myself, everyone else lying around, probably in bed, will be checking their Instagram feeds, because why sleep when you have pressing events on Instagram of which you need to be caught up to speed. After all, what better way to avoid going to sleep, and/or thinking about the next work day

So, for those of you who do not like to read graphs and charts, this infographic has put all the information you need, into a nice, easy-to-read, and easy-on-the-eyes graphic that even a person with the shortest of attention spans can tolerate.

Check out the graphic for more detailed information and some insights into the other favorites, Pinterest, and Google+.
